I'm Mike Yeager, the owner of Northgate Transmissions. I'm a Master Certified Technician, and I have been the proud owner for 18 years. I am in the office every day, and involved in every repair personally. I do all of the diagnostic work when your vehicle first arrives, and I also make time to perform every single final road test. I pride myself on the fact that we are specialists — we are not one size fits all, we do not repair the entire car. We are transmission and driveline only. Being a specialist allows me to be better focused on my repair of your vehicle and ensure the best transmission repair possible.
Active in competitive racing — and adores spending time with his girls. You can count on Mike to treat your car as if it were his own.

30+ years behind the bench
Mark is one of our transmission rebuilders. He brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to the team, with over 30 years behind the bench. He has done every type of work imaginable on a vehicle and knows them inside and out.
Proud parent of around 10 chickens at home.
25+ years in automotive
Mike is one of our veteran installers with over 25 years in the automotive business. He has the ability to diagnose and repair transmissions in a timely and professional manner, and is one of the most detail-oriented installers we have ever had on our team.

Working on cars since before he could drive
Alex has been working on cars since before he could drive. He has been with us for several years and is truly a leader in the shop. He has the ability to manage workflow and is one of the most dedicated technicians we know.
Enjoys off-roading and spending time chasing his boys around.
Trained the Northgate way
Nick is our youngest installer and worked his way up through this shop. For two years, Nick trained under Alex and learned the ropes of how to do things Northgate Transmission style. He has become one of the most highly trained and professional installers in Cincinnati — his attention to detail is second to none.

Daniel is our newest installer. He also worked his way up through the shop — starting as a lot technician, Daniel caught on quickly and continues to prove himself. His diligence and ambition demonstrate that he is a true asset to the team.
